'Keeping it short and sweet today!
If you don't mind saying so ...
"Who do you think is the person most similar to yourself in the world?
In what way(s)?"
In what way(s)?"
Hugs, Myra

My sister is more like me than anyone else in the world. In fact, my sons all say we have one brain between us and just use it interchangeably..
ReplyDeleteHahaha! I wish I had a sister.
DeleteI have two friends that are a lot like me, one of them even looks a little like me. We are friends because of our common interests. Hope June is good to you ! Love, ma
ReplyDeleteCommon interests are key, aren't they? It took me a long time to realize that.
DeleteThe person most similar to me is my reflection in the mirror. The only difference is that he seems to know more than me.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Good one! 🤭
DeleteWow, such an interesting question.
ReplyDeleteI am most similar to my dear friend Linda (in Calif.) I've known her since we were children. We were born only one week apart (same year) and we are EXTREMELY similar and always in sync. We are
both notorious night owls and text each other every
night.
Two people in history who were very similar to me are
What a blessing! I'm so glad you've this kindred soul in your life, Jon.
DeleteI messed up my comment because I'm on a cell phone. Two people in history who were very similar to me are composer Tchaikovsky and writer Marcel Proust. They were both extremely sensitive...and hopelessy romantic
ReplyDeleteI don't have sufficient smarts to have read these men. But yes, for better or worse, I think I'm the same.
Deletehumm, I have never met a man that was extremely sensitive and hopelessly romantic. and this answer is easy, there are two, my dad and I are like we were cloned and the 3rd pea in the pod is my husband bob. Personality traits are all 3 of us completely perfect peas in a pod. the difference comes in with beliefs and opinions. bob and daddy are the same, I agree with nothing any of the two believes is true. they also both believe there way is the ONLY way and no one else is ever right. I know I am right but do occasionally admit I am wrong. ha ha... good question.. hope you will tell us your answer
ReplyDeleteBTW I married my dad not once but 3 times.
Perhaps I'm annoyingly sensitive and helplessly romantic......
DeleteTo both of you -- I think Billy Joel said it best: "Don't go changing to try and please me ... I love you just the way you are."
DeleteI haven't got a clue. Interesting question!

DeleteGosh, I can't think of anyone. I'm quiet and love be be behind the scenes, just doing my thing. Maybe I'm like the cleaning staff at the hospital.. Needed but gets no particular attention..that's such a weird thought that popped into my mind..Weird, where did that come from?
ReplyDeleteSue
Again, I'm struck at how alike we are. The cleaning staff is a great analogy!
Deletethecontemplativecat here. I wish I could say something profound like Mother Theresa, but instead I will say I can't think of any people that would/could be like me.
ReplyDelete💛
DeleteThanks for asking, Sandra (MS)! Physically, my son and I most resemble each other. There's no way, however, I could mirror his intelligence and countenance. I remember my mother's exasperated -- "You're just like your father." I suppose that's true -- both a little selfish, overly fond of good food and drink; and occasional ribald joke. He's been gone since 1981 and I miss him every day.
ReplyDeleteMy sister and I seem to have grown into each other as we have aged. Many people think we are twins, but when they meet us in person they know that isn't true. I'm much taller and freckleier, and she is petite and used to be a brunette. We do think alike on somethings, but certainly not everything. Each of my sons has a little of me in them, just not in looks. They all look more like their father, but they are "smart" like me. LOL. That's a joke, of course! LOL.
ReplyDeleteI suspect your boys share the best of both you and John.
DeleteWho is most like me? Now, that's a heavy question, Myra! I think, fortunately for everyone around me, God threw away the mold when He made me - Lol!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
I love that thought!
DeleteGosh, I dunno. Possibly a half sister before she slipped into dangerous habits. We have chosen different paths. Haven't heard from her in over 2 years but I pray for/about her often. I miss talking to her. 💙
ReplyDeleteI, too, have a relative who, for unknown reasons, has chosen to shut me out. The only thing I know to do is pray for her. Every day.
DeleteMy sisters are six and nine years younger than me. We sure do love each other but we are all quite different. I would have answered that Joe was more like me in so many ways. I can't think of anyone right now. Sometimes I'm still trying to figure out if I'm really like me. LOL
ReplyDeleteI get that, Terri. No way I resemble the person I was at 18 -- or even 38.
DeleteFirst person that came to my mind is my middle daughter Tammy! We are like 2 peas in a pod!!
ReplyDeleteThat's neat. 😊
DeleteMy Brother in law, but he has passed. So no one is this crazy or out there as I am.... I hope I learn better myownself, one day!
ReplyDeleteLove you girl...
Then again, why go changing? 🤷
DeleteThat's wonderful!
