| The Song Remembers When - Trisha Yearwood G'evening sweet friends, Forgive me a few visual indulgences ... Having unexpectedly lost a dear friend the other evening, this week's been difficult. Sometimes I think December's the hardest month. I'm not saying that to court sympathy ... in the words of her great granddaughter, "Although we love Mimi so much, we are happy to know she is exactly where she wants to be, in the arms of the Lord." May we all be so blessed! |
That little chair behind me?
It still sits beside my bed to hold a cell phone and water bottle.

1957-ish
1983 ..... It was the best of times
... and then along came Macie. And Grace.
God bless us, everyone!

We want to be happy at Christmas, not sad. But more than one of us has an empty chair at the table during the holidays.

It's always hard to lose a friend, but the holiday season does seem to make i worse. However, as Christians we take joy in the fact that the person is where they were meant to be.
