You gonna Love it ... or Leave it?

Welcome to Toni Taddeo's Tuesday 4

Coffee flavored or coffee plain?  What's your favorite kind?

I love coffee anything!   In a cup 'straight up' ..... over ice ..... as a marinade ..... flavored ice cream ... even those little 'nips' that populated our 70's candy dishes.

My favorite is dark French roast.

I'm not a fan of dessert coffee but will probably sample one of these drinks at the new coffee shop down the street.  Just because!

Snowball for me, please.  You?

A trip to the Caribbean or a trip to Spain?  Why?

Caribbean, please.
I'm no longer comfortable travelling overseas -- plus the thought of learning a new language isn't appealing.

Goodies on your pizza or just plain?  What toppings would you love or leave?

It's hard to beat Mellow Mushroom's 'Merry Prankster.'

'Starts with an herb aioli base, layered with chicken, Italian sausage, garlic-roasted red peppers, green bell peppers, mozzarella, Wisconsin aged white cheddar and finished with an herb aioli drizzle.'

Please, no pepperoni, pineapple or ham.

Dinner at a 5-star or dinner at Rosie's Diner, known for her home-style cooking?

Who's paying?

Honestly, I miss dressing up 'to the 9's" once in a while.  Unless one's royalty or presenting on the red carpet, there are few opportunities.

5-star it is!

Hugs, Myra

  1. I drink my coffee black, no cream or sugar in mine. I've been drinking it for a lot of years and love trying out different flavors. That's why I love K cups so I can try out varieties. As far as pizza goes, give me pepperoni and mushrooms. That is my favorite. It's very cold here this morning so I think I better have another cup of hot coffee. Love, ma

    1. I love the variety of K-cups! Pepperoni, too, but the sodium isn't my friend.

  2. I've never heard of a Mellow Mushroom's 'Merry Prankster.' Pizza, sure sounds yummy!! Enjoyed reading your answers, have a great day.

  3. French dark roast, STRONG! I do like some of the flavored but not for breakfast, just if out somewhere. I used to love the iced cappuchino from books a million. I picked two up at lunch time and drove one to bob where he worked as auto mechanic. have not had one for 22 years which is a scary thought. I am way way way toooo cheap to buy coffees in a coffee shop. pepperone and cheese or just cheese, no STUFF on my pizza.

    1. Not so scary ... smart! I don't patronize ****$'s but will try the new coffee cottage mentioned above. Picture mom, dad and daughter trying to make their dream come true on a wing and a prayer.

  4. Coffee, anyway.... Not even sure why! LOL So I will take Spain, we seldom differ. LOL
Pizza? We both have settled on the Veggie Lover's Pizza!
Ruth's Chris Steak House is the top place we have eaten, I did wear a jacket! LOL I am not sure it is a 5 star place..... I do remember it was good and $$$$$$. ;-)

    1. Lucky you! I've never been to a Ruth Chris' Steakhouse. In all the years I lived in Florida, I regret not indulging in a visit to Bern's Steakhouse. Methinks that deserves a permanent spot on my ever-evolving bucket list.

  5. I like your answers, and certainly the pizza. But no pineapples for me. Plenty of pepperoni though.

I love to go to restaurants. I once to impress clients I ordered a whole meal in French. It was a Greek restaurant.

    God bless.

    1. Funny fellow! Reflecting on what we used to call "European trained waiters", I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't understand every word!

    2. Yes, you're right. Many are multi-lingual.

      God bless always.

  8. I love dark-roasted coffee, and would sure like to try out the coffee shop you've mentioned here, Myra.
Not fond of pineapple or chicken on a pizza, but can pretty much enjoy any other ingredient. I don't need to go to a 5-star restaurant as I have a honest to goodness chef in Danny. :)
    Blessings!

  9. I like just about any kind of coffee. I used to drink it black, until I got a duodenal ulcer (looong ago). Now I drink coffee and tea with milk or evaporated milk.
Pizza? NO pineapple or anchovies. I like pepperoni, or pepper and onions, mushrooms and black olives.
I'd like to travel to Spain, but I agree with you - - traveling overseas is risky nowadays - nothing like it used to be.

I'll see you at Rosie's Diner (*smile*).

    1. I'm afraid I may be developing an ulcer, but I'm chasing it with Zantac. Coffee's likely the last thing I'll give up.

  10. I enjoyed your answers. I am not interested in overseas traveling but I would like to have seen Spain. I guess because my big sis liked it so well. :-) I appreciate you very much. Sticking by me, this life is so hard. HUGS & LOVE

  12. Dark French Roast for me, too. I can do coffee however it is presented (except pumpkin spice!). You are the only blogger who answered 5-star! I agree it is fun to dress up now and then!! Hugs!

  13. If I were going to the coffee shop I would opt for the Noel. Though my normal cup of coffee is a dark roast black coffee. Like you I love anything coffee flavored.
Spain would be my choice (but I had really rather go to Portugal). While there I would eat at least one 5 star place!

    1. Yes! I'm at point now where I'd rather spend $ on experiences v. things.

  14. I'm afraid I will skip all of those. But we're very happy anyway. There's no accounting for taste. 😊

  15. I'm not a coffee drinker so I'll pass. Hope you have a great rest of the week!

  16. I forgot about coffee ice cream. I use to love it! Your pizza sounds delicious. We need a blog party at a 5 star restaurant where we all dress to the nines!

  17. All kinds of coffee, but very rarely order the "froofy" kind with whipped cream out. It's all sugar and too pricy, except for a special treat. I do make my own at home with almond milk, coffee and sugar-free syrup in the blender.
