G'morning friends!
Yep, I'm going with another Q-and-A today. Just because.
If you'd like to join the party, just click here.
🐜
You are walking down the road and you look down. There is a bug. Do you step on it?
Is it a scorpion?
Am I barefoot?
No, and no? Well then, that bug's likely to get a pass,
🐜
What is one fantasy that you want to come true more than any other?
I'd still love to take a girl's road trip -- laughing, sharing, enjoying carbs and copious amounts of wine.
🐜
Someone knocks on your door. Do you look out the window to see who it is before you open it? Do you open it regardless of who it is?
We've little choice.
Pretty to look at -- but even after 4 years, this still makes me uncomfortable. I'm mighty grateful for strong outdoor lighting!
🐜
Have you ever eaten Play-Doh?
No ... but I loved to smell it.
🐜
What was your favorite Saturday morning cartoon as a child?
I don't recall ever watching Saturday morning cartoons.
If not on the road with my parents, I was outside playing with my friends.
🐜
Are you a people watcher?
Yes!!!
🐜
I have a bowl of fruit. There are apples, oranges and pears. You help yourself to one. Which one do you choose?
I'm not fond of fruit, but pears aren't too bad.
🐜
What is your biggest pet peeve in the blogging world?
Those disappearing comments!
🐜
What was the last really funny movie you watched?
'Going in Style'
Why?
Not sure where or when I'll get to order some ... but I've found a recipe for French Onion meatloaf that sounds amazing.
Have yourselves a super Sunday!
Hugs, Myra

Happy Sunday! I enjoyed your answers a lot. I was in your neck of the woods this weekend and actually thought about you! Maybe we could get a small group of bloggers together for a girl's weekend.
ReplyDeleteI'd like that, Lisa!
DeleteGood interesting answers, Mevely. I guess I am a situations watcher. Situations/events give me ideas for my writings.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a Happy Week. God bless.
A 'situations watcher' -- I love the sound of that! I may have to borrow that tag line for myself.
DeleteI remember seeing the trailer for Going In Style but never actually saw it. I'll have to check it out.
ReplyDeleteI would never open a door without knowing who is out there. In the old days, yes. Now, no. 😳
ReplyDeleteIt behooves us to keep on our toes!
DeleteThat was a silly Sunday Stealing...shower? like 15 min for me, LOLOL. Bugs? It depends. And a road trip sounds nice...oh and our new place, it has a glass storm door and solid front door, but I am looking to replace that with some sort of glass door--it doesn't bother me etc. Have a beautiful day friend.
ReplyDeleteIs that because you're married to a Marine? (*grinning*)
DeleteYou always give me an idea. I guess I am a lot like old Victor above in a lot of ways. As in my post today, it came from reading YOU. But the bug? If it is a Cockroach, the sucker is dead. LOL. That comes from living in Biloxi in the late 50s. LOL
ReplyDeleteSherry & jack
Oh, ya. Roaches are not my friend!
DeleteI say I'm sorry a lot too. Loved your answers!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day!

Thank you, Lori!
DeleteHello and Good Morning. I like your answers too and I have a lot that are the same. If a bug is outside, it is fine, but do not come in.
ReplyDeleteI do look out the peephole before I open the door. I people watch. Showers 5 minutes. lol. And I say I'm sorry too much too. Have a nice day.
Thanks! You do the same, Sandie!
DeleteI don't know exactly where to start on this one. I suppose if a bug wasn't threatening me or my house I'd leave it alone, But when ants invade my space I do everything I can to get rid of them. My shower probably lasts about 10 minutes. I really never timed it . I've never traveled much but seriously think the best place to be is home. Hope you have a relaxing Sunday ! Love, Ma
ReplyDeleteA road trip is a great idea! I hope one day you get to do it.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed!
DeleteIf people watching was an Olympic sport, I would get a gold medal for it, lol :) Oh my gosh with the mechanical bull! That definitely would have me in the hospital for sure! If I'm not washing my hair, I'm about 3 minutes in the shower. Otherwise, probably about 5 minutes. It is that pesky thing of saving water, otherwise I could spend a long time in it, especially in the winter to warm up. Have a great Sunday!
ReplyDeletebetty
Funny girl ... I'm visualizing you now, standing on that platform waiting for your gold medal!
DeleteHi Myra! I think I finally got it fixed so you will show up on my blog sideboard. For some reason you dropped off my reading list and I could not, for the life of me, remember the name of your blog. I saw a post on Shipslog and backtracked from there.
ReplyDeleteLove your answers today. Glad to have found you again. xo Diana
Aw, thank you for looking for me -- and letting me know. All the feels!
DeleteI hope the copious amounts of wine are not while on the road! LOL. The girls road trip sounds fun, although I am not a wine-bibber, but I can still laugh at everyone else. LOL. Bugs? We live in Florida. You learn to live with bugs, but not in the house. Bugs in the house will die as soon as I find something to squish them with...definitely not my bare foot! LOL. Shower? Oh, gosh...10 minutes maybe. Hubby has to remind me not to use all the hot water if he's still waiting for his shower. That's why I prefer to go last. Then I can stay as long as I want...It's my most relaxing time of the day. No thanks to the mechanical bull. I've already had major back surgery and neck surgery and I really don't want to undo what I've done! LOL. I'd just love to take a trip north to the mountains in the fall and stay in a real log cabin for a while...maybe just stay there until winter...LOL. I do love to watch people. They really are funny. Have a blessed and fun day my friend.
ReplyDeleteI'm right there with you about a log cabin in the mountains! Someday, maybe!
DeleteIf the bug is outside and not bothering me I would leave it alone. Inside it would depend on the bug.
ReplyDelete🙂🐜
DeleteI love these questions...especially your answers. You almost always make me laugh. It's been a long time since I've had a girls trip, but they were always a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cathy!
DeleteHey, you mentioned the disappearing comments. Have you checked your spam folder on Blogger. I keep finding comments there from people who have been commenting for a long time and lately I've found even some of my comments in my Spam Folder. Now that's ridiculous! lol
ReplyDeleteTimely reminder! (I needed that!)
DeleteCount me in for the road trip!! Yes, Play Doh smells great and I can tell you from experience that it is salty!! I would also pick the pear. I don't think I have seen that movie. Need to look it up! French Onion soup is my favorite, followed by Clam Chowder. I enjoyed your Sunday post, Myra!! xo
ReplyDeleteThanks, Terri! Now I'm thinking I want to watch it again. Laughter's the best medicine!
