The last two me me our me me me! Only I learned the hymns in church. And the old hymns that we sign over and over and over pop into my head at strange times and on number one yes yes yes I do love it. And since I love all the animals most of the time no matter if it's a cow or horse or a donkey it will come to me and let me pet it and just like with the dogs that makes me feel good. Once I was out with my friend Diane and we're taking photos and we were driving by a field and there were horses in the field so we pulled off and walk to the fence to take the photos and one of the horses came walking across from under the tree and right up to me and hung his head over and let me pet him and then when Diane tried to pay it and he walked away
Day before yesterday I was driving somewhere and suddenly started singing, "I love to go a'wandering along the mountain track, and as I go I love to sing, my knapsack on my back." Good grief -- I've not heard that since Girl Scounts '62!
I agree with Jon of course, and yep the toilet seat example reminds me of many one time things I order than they are presented daily for many days, wanting me to order more. In my case a lot of tools. LOL I haven't worn them out yet!!!! All of the examples resound in my head. Love it. Sherry & jack over in NC
This is all so true. Why is it I keep getting adverts from Amazon for the same thing I have just bought? Some things you only require one of.
And Facebook too. I gave up on that years ago. It's like opening the fridge and finding an old piece of mouldy cheese rejected by the mice from the mousetrap.
I often get in my head tunes I used to play on the radio ... Beatles, Rolling Stones, Monkees, Neil Diamond and so on. Why didn't the chair hear him speak? Was it a chaise longue which only understood French? That lyric always stuck in my mind!
Oh those old songs pohat p up in my mind too. I guess I'll never forget them. That song was a favorite of mine. He has the whole world in His hands. My grandchildren still sing it.
Yes, I love to sing at the oddest times...seems like I've always got some song stuck in my head and out it comes! Yes, mostly hymns but now and then some silly songs like you were singing about my knapsack on my back! I always love to come visit here! Such fun.
Better left unsaid.....Guilty! But sometime you have to let people know what is going on. I was at a blog where the ownder of said blog was calling people fruitcakes because they do not agree with her therories of the Jab and Virus. SHe is misinformed is all I can say and I wish she would leave me alone. SHe once wanted to school me on the Catholic church. Toots raised in it my entire life, ain't nothin you can say, that I do not alreayd know because you are not and never have been a Catholic. Plus did not appreciate the slams to my people like my folks. Who by the way, are enjoying heaven as I type these words. :-) SOmetime God whispers shhhh...... to me and I do listen wink wink LOVE and HUGS

ReplyDeleteI see myself in that one, too!
DeleteAll of these are ringing with truth - - which makes them ever more humorous than if they were fiction.
ReplyDeleteAmazon tracks every move we make....
even when we're on a toilet seat.
I meant to say "EVEN more", not "ever more"
DeleteBlame it on being a 'government child' but I find that oddly comforting.
