Resurrection

I've no idea what these are, but they smell heavenly.

Continuing from last time..... 
Macie Ann continues to improve.  It's somewhat of a pain, preparing different meals and separating she and Grace at mealtimes -- but that gives me a whole new appreciation for mothers of multiples! Thanks so much for your nice comments!

What I didn't share, about a week ago our not 2-y/o clothes dryer gave up the ghost. Kaput. Again. 
(Don't get me started on Maytag 'Made in America.')

Thank goodness for ample space in the sun room I could lay out random articles to dry.

I was seriously thinking of re-creating that scene from Office Space where they drag the photocopier outside and beat it to death.

THEN ….. 

… with little else to do, Friday I stood at the dryer holding the 'on' button in place -- like that little kid who held his finger in the dam.

Whad'ya know?  It's worked like a champ ever since!

RIP

Sad to say, due to (my) inattention this beauty became root-bound.  Last Fall when I went to re-pot 'Linda' she went into shock and, in short order, passed away.

Lately I've tried -- without success -- to find another philodendron.

Our farmers market claims growers are unable to provide them just now.

THEN ... 

Yesterday Tom called me outside.  "Look!"

Why, it makes a body want to break into song …. 

"Up from the grave He arose!"
