(aka, Stage Left) where I occasionally enjoy sitting with my thoughts. Away from the television screen ... the background music of Doing Life.
So, how did this get to be March already?
It's been a pretty okay-ish week. In between Tom's doctors' appointments and physical therapy, we paused (twice) to celebrate Lois' and Tom's birthdays. Happy "New Year" to them!

I pray this Most Beautiful Girl always stays this happy.
In other news ...
We watched a Really Good movie last night. Hillbilly Elegy (Maybe you've heard of it?)
... and despite my reluctance to buy newly released books, I'm more than a little intrigued by a free sample I recently downloaded. The Correspondent isn't anywhere near my usual, preferred genre. Its protagonist not so likeable.
Still, there's a tug.
How could I not, when reading this excerpt from the publisher:

Speaking of reading!
I know some of y'all are familiar with blogger/author/friend, Victor at Time for Reflections.
Perchance, have you visited his lounge?
It's a short walk!

DeleteI haven't seen the movie, Myra, but I did read the book - it's fantastic! And of course, I'm familiar with the Christian Lounge; just told Victor that I'd submit something appropriate during the month of March. I sure enjoyed the piece you offered a while back. Blessings!

DeleteLove your pictures and seeing you and Tom looking so good! And that sweet Penelope! She is adorable!!!Oh, what a blessing to have a 'baby' in the family, right? I would just love to have one surprise us in our family, but that would take some doing and miracles, so I won't hold my breath. I just enjoy other people's sweet cherubs. I love the cozy scene at the beginning of your post. That looks like a perfect setting for relaxation and peace and comfort. (and a nap). Have a lovely week.
