Friday lite

Stacy?   Linda?   Anyone?

This is SO me whenever they play, 'Sweet Home Alabama'

Also me 🠇

Finally this, from a friend's FB post:

I needed a laugh this morning.
But on the other hand this is sad if true.

A group of 12 women were at a seminar on how to live in a loving relationship with their husbands. The women were asked "How many of you love your husband?" All the women raised their hands. Then they were asked, "When was the last time you told your husband you loved him?" Some women answered today, a few yesterday, and some couldn't remember.

The women were then told to take out their cell phones and text their husband "I love you, sweetheart."

Next the women were instructed to exchange phones with another woman and read aloud the text message they received in response to their message.

Below are 12 actual hilarious replies from their husbands. If you have been married for quite a while, you understand that these replies are a sign of true love.
Who else would reply in such a succinct and honest way?

1. Who the hell is this?
2. Hey, mother of my children, are you sick or what?
3. Yeah, and I love you too. What's wrong?
4. What now? Did you wreck the car again?
5. I don't understand what you mean?
6. What the hell did you do now?
7. Are you sure this is for me?
8. Don't beat about the bush, just tell me how much you need?
9. Am I dreaming?
10. If you don't tell me who this message is for, someone will die.
11. I thought we agreed you wouldn't drink during the day.
12. Your mother is coming to stay with us, isn't she?

Stay safe, and don't forget ...

Hugs, Myra

  1. What a joyful and fun post today, Mevely. Thanx. I needed that.

Why is it women like to be told often that they are loved? I told my wife that it goes without saying. She said a lot of women love to hear they are loved. It gives them re-assurance and it's nice and a caring thing to do.

So I wrote on a card "I LOVE YOU" and got it laminated. She can read that whenever she needs re-assurance, and caring.

    God bless.

  2. Those are all so good, Myra! I can always count on you for a good smile! That last one about "I love you" is hilarious!! Sounds so typical male too. However, my hubby and I tell each other we love each other every day at some time or another, at least before we fall asleep at night if not sooner. And I tell my kids I love them anytime I talk to them. I love it when they respond with "I love you too". Amazing how good those 3 little words can make one feel. Almost as good as "Let's eat out!" LOL.

  7. Interesting those replies from the husbands. I told DDH I love you every morning before he left the house to go to work and every evening when he came home. He always said I love you back.

    1. Not weird at all, Betty. We do, too; even with family and dear friends. Remember when that Glasser police officer was killed; his mother's blog said he ALWAYS told his fellow officers, "I love you."

  15. I save every I LOVE YOU taht comes in tect form from my husband and kids. No wonder I have no memory left on my phone hahahahaha. I sing along, when I am alone to all my music. I would probably be removed for causing dogs to run wild into the wilderness if anyone other Leo was my audience. I love everything here and in previous posts. I need to reread some of these.
