To borrow a phrase from sweet Marie, here are a few things I've found that pique my interest and bring me joy. Gosh knows, we could all use a little more joy!
An ordinary, extraordinary weed.
Our yard will never vie for House Beautiful ... and I'm okay with that!
Maybe not the greatest thing since sliced bread ... but close!
I've long abandoned the 'Cleopatra' eye effect, but wanted something subtle to make my smallish eyes noticeable.
These glide on like butter, with no smear. Woot!
A former classmate (and her h/s sweetie) still live in my hometown. Not sure how it began, but they've a little family of deer that come hang out in their front yard.
When I watched Patty's video on FB, I had to capture a screen shot.
Wild thing, you make my heart sing!
There's nothing like the real thing ...
but I was delighted to discover these in Target's frozen food aisle. Now I can enjoy a taste of the Cheesecake Factory without having to driving 90 minutes!
Finally ...
I can sure relate. Anyone else?

ReplyDeleteI remember when the doctor gave me a bottle of pills because I was a little weak. When I got home I was so weak and tired I could not open the bottle. I drove all the way back to the doctor and asked him to open the bottle for me.

DeleteI just finished doing 5 pill organizers to for Bob and three for me. I have to have mine because I can I take 1 pill when I wake up I take the other at 8 and then the one at night and if I don't put it in the pill organizers I do exactly what you said I'll be staying there with a bottle in my hand getting ready to put it back and think did I take that or did I not so even though I only take one pill for my blood pressure at 5 in the morning I put it in a organizer all by itself so that I can look and see if that day was taken.

ReplyDeleteI've not worn mascara in years for the same reason. This, I just swipe across the lash line like I used to do with regular eyeliner, only there's no pulling/stretching the lid.

I will have to look into that eye makeup. I look horrid these days and usually just go without - I just gave up! I also have a tearing reaction to mascara too.

DeleteI hate to say it, but the tubes of eyeliner looked like duracell batteries with a lid on them, and I couldn't for the life of me figure out what those were until I read further on. I was going to say perhaps the name of them was 'you light up my life/eyes". LOL. Yes, to the pill meme. I need to start using an organizer because I am back on a prescription med now at night and between that and other things that I take in the morning, I sometimes think I've gotten them confused for am or pm and can't remember which I did... I love your "weed'. I call them wildflowers, and I love them. God planted them and He takes care of them so I don't have to. Love the deer. Your friends are blessed! I'm sure I'd love that cheesecake, but I'd better not. This was a real "eye opener" this morning here at 5:30 am. Oh, for mascara I use Avon wash off/waterproof. I know, it makes no sense, but it does wash off, but won't drip when you cry. And I've never had problems with it causing eye issues. I've used it for years and won't use any other because other brands do cause problems. Okay, back to sipping my tea. Good Morning!

DeleteOrdinary weeds can be very beautiful. The Color Tattoo looks interesting. That's so sweet of your friends with the deer. Cheesecake is my favorite dessert and Cheesecake Factory makes the best! I use pill cases which really help me to stay on track with my meds.

ReplyDeleteMany makeup brands make my eyes itch, turn red also. Physician's Formula is a good alternative brand.
