Thanks for asking! :)
I'm Thankful ...
For the overwhelming (to me, anyway) response to my last post. I couldn't have anticipated "Bye Bye Blackbird" Q-n'-A's would result in so many great responses. Wheeee!
Outside my Window ...
Winter's gradually loosening its grip, yes.
But I'm really taken by this tree, seemingly desperate for warmth.
I'm Loving ...
Wal-Mart's super-soft leggings!
Consequently, I can't quit humming that song we learned in grade school Glee Club:
I'm looking over, a four-leaf clover ...
(Ear-worm, anyone?)
Shaking my Head ...
Yesterday I got a call to my cell phone … from my cell phone. Truth!
(The same thing recently happened to one of our Bible-study gals, so I guess it's really a 'thing.')
Oh my Goodness! ...
One of Tom's flying pals gave him this beast Pitts RC. I can't help but wonder if Nick's really that generous -- or his wife wanted it gone. (LOL)
IF Tom decides to keep it he'll need to invest in a new motor ... and find somewhere to keep it ... besides the sun room.
Looking Forward to ...
Birthday luncheon with my son and DIL on Saturday, and(!)
meeting this fellow
at his book signing Sunday afternoon. (Squeal!)
A Parting Smile ...
Please tell me I'm not the only one?
Have a super (and safe) day! Love you all!
Hugs, Myra

Color me ignorant and mad. I just realized something has switched me to Chrome our of Foxfire (What ever they are.) and many blogs will not take my comments in Chrome and I wish I knew why!
ReplyDeleteNow you have me singing 'About 4 leaf clovers,' Every since Betty Grable I enjoy pretty legs!
I hope Tom can get that dude airborne, that must be a fun hobby (not as good as playing the sax, but close!)
And yep I do envy you. I would sure like to meet Sean, I enjoy reading and sometimes commenting. Love from over here,
Sherry & jack Now I must check where else my comment did not register.
Aren't those computer gremlins annoying? If it ain't broke, why go changing things … know what I mean? (*grin*)
DeleteIs there anything you want me to ask Sean?
out of foxfire..... I also need a proofer!
ReplyDeleteYou and me both!
DeleteI am so glad she did not give that monster to Bob.. and also thankful he has given up flying gas powered, he only does battery powered now. he still has a ton of the gas stuffed in the garage but they have hung on the walls for about 5 years now. I wish he would give them away. wonder what it cost to ship planes to AL??? love the leggings, we don't have those in our WM. in fact I saw nothing for St Pat except the t-shirts. you need my tshirt to go with these.
ReplyDeleteOoooh, no you don't! I understand why he bought the 2nd storage shed to accommodate the riding mower, but I told him a 3rd is out of the question! :)
DeleteHa ha! You are not the only one!
ReplyDeleteThanks! You've made this blogger a happy gal!
DeleteLove those leggings, Myra! And yes, Tom has to find another location for that aircraft. :) Happy Early Birthday to you!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
Thank you so much, Martha!
DeleteOHHHHHHHHHHHHH I must have your Trifle Bowl, grin. I DO NOT OWN A TRIFLE BOWL! ((GRIN and LAUGHTER))
ReplyDeleteLove those leggings, which btw, I have mentioned before, I would not get caught wearing, LOL. NOONE wants to see a "healthy" girl wearing leggings, LOLOLOL.
OH and that sure is a handsome guy who wrote a book, smiles.
Waving to Tom...smiles
My DIL gave me this trifle bowl … she picks them up for a song at estate sales. And no; no matter how comfortable they are, I won't wear leggings outside the house/yard.
DeleteI shall not comment about the leggings. The last time I commented on a lady's leggings I got a sharp elbow in the ribs. It was in church. She was standing in front of us, wearing a mini very mini skirt. I think God created sharp elbows for a purpose.
ReplyDeleteI like that model plane.
As for underground parking garages. I always carry an umbrella in the car in case it rains when the roof top is open.
God bless.
Thanking God for sharp elbows and umbrellas!
DeleteLove the leggings - you and Sandra.
ReplyDeleteYou must have Irish in you - I do too a little.
My basement is filled with planes like that - my hubs and yours would like each other!!
I don't recognize that star????
Yep, I'm sure our hubbies would have a good time! That's my favorite columnist/author, Sean Dietrich, aka Sean of the South.
DeleteI'm looking forward to Spring and the coronavirus being gone at some point. Cute leggings! Wow, the plane is cool but so darn big. Have fun on Saturday and Sunday!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Debby!
DeleteWow with the size of the plane!! I agree, its got to be moved out of the sun room! Your leggings are adorable! So glad you get to meet a favorite of yours! I hope you can get a picture of him and you together!
ReplyDeletebetty
Knock wood … that's the plan, Betty. So many events are being cancelled; I hope this isn't one of them.
Deletethank you ! I hope you have a super and safe day too! I love rhose leggings, Now I want some too but not enough to make a trip to Walmart...the stores are all crazy here.
ReplyDeleteHere, too! Living in a small town, I was a bit taken aback by all the people -- on a weekday, no less. I did score toilet paper tho … at the Dollar Store.
DeleteSounds like a great outing coming up. Love the leggings. Now that I'm (thoughtful) spending again I may need to make a trip to Walmart online.
ReplyDeleteGotta say, I've never had an article of clothing so comfortable!
DeleteLOL... I think I duck a bit too when entering a low over-hang! Maybe the plane would make a good wall hanging? Keep us posted! Love your leggings!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Terri. I sure will!
DeleteThose leggings are adorable. I'd definitely wear 'em... if I didn't have to leave the house to look for them. HA Other than going to the cancer center, we're pretty much gonna hunker down in the house. My hubby and I are both in a high-risk category. Especially him.
ReplyDeleteVery cool that you're going to meet Sean. Thanks for turning me on to him. I usually love his columns. I have to admit, I wasn't too thrilled with the one the other day where he pretty much said, "Nuts to the virus... I'm gonna keep on hugging and shaking hands." Nice sentiment, in a way, but dangerous behavior for those at risk.
Um. no I don't duck when I drive into a parking garage, but I do move in reaction to action taking place on the TV screen sometimes. As if by moving to the right will prevent a star from getting punched in the nose or something...
Have a super weekend. Oh yeah... that is some BIG plane! I think another outbuilding may be in your future. (We have THREE... plus a huge garage. My baby's got lots of stuff!)
Well, I've already informed Tom he can't have a third outbuilding. LOL. Your reactions (to action on the screen) are adorable … and, no doubt, amusing to Smarticus? Not sure with Tom's COPD he's going to be comfortable going to see Sean, but I'm still in a hugging state of mind. We'll see.....
DeleteIn response to Jack's comment - I use Firefox and they always seem to be doing annoying things to my computer. Also, I have Avast antivirus and they are constantly encouraging (forcing) me to switch to Google Chrome (which I will never do).
ReplyDeleteLife with computers is infuriating.....
Thanks to you, I keep singing that Four-Leaf-Clover song, which was never one of my favorites.
Wow, Tom's airplane is huge. I like it, but would prefer to keep it in the garage...or somewhere...
Perhaps you could build an airplane hanger??
Sounds like a great upcoming weekend, with the luncheon and book signing. Have fun!
Heh-heh! Ya, I know all about annoying ear-worms. How I wish we had a garage; or a hanger!
Deleteyes. i duck. don't know why but i do. you know my hubby loves your hubbys plane. very cool machine. great fun once it gets off the ground. enjoy the book signing. love those leggings. and the song. a favorite.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I think until he buys a motor and new servos (sp?) Tom's going to dismantle the wings and keep it in his he-shed. But I'll definitely share when/if it gets to flying.
DeleteI also got a call from myself. I live in soft leggings in winter! They're the best.
ReplyDeleteI hope you met Sean and Jamie and had hugs! I heard he cancelled after this weekend. I'm not into all the media frenzy because if people were worried why is the toilet paper aisle empty and the Vitamin/Medicine aisles filled to the rafters?! I worry for my honey but am getting better. God is in control so I could care less about all the craziness. He does what He does in His own time. I adore leggings and in the winter I wear them under my dresses too because it gets cold here brrrrrrr......I can not find my St. Paddy's leggings, that is how many I have! But I am ready for Easter and all the patriotic holidays. I own 11 patriotic dresses and I wear them with great pride! The hubby and I have Shenanigan T Shirts! Today is also 3:16! I love it! " For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son , that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." When Nick ran in school middle through college I always took his bib number and found verses to correspond. You would be surprised what God leads you to! :-) watching Harrison, Brody and Blake, I get all the kid tunes stuck inside my head! Even from my own children's childhood, I Love You, You Love Me...Barney the purple dinosaur! HaHaHa! Ooooh I love a trifle bowl. I need to find one for Brittany. She had one that Noelle accidentally broke argh.....but I have a few original pieces from my Princess House days. It is a shame they went the way of high end pots and pans and Pampered Chef gadgets. Nothing like a handcrafted hand blown piece of crystal crafted in the good ole USA! :-( Sad that is a dying art and the stuff out of Mexico is heavy and more like lead then hand blown. It is a true dying art. Gosh I miss all the beautiful Princess House pieces. I search the internet sometimes for things. Those calls from yourself, I have had them on the cell and the house phone. Hmmmm.....more craziness! LOVE And HUGS xo
